How to get there: 80-90 minutes by highway bus 919 from Deshengmen 德胜门 to Yanqing. The buses are very frequent. The route passes close to the Great Wall.
From Yanqing it’s a 20 minutes ride by taxi (or local bus Y43) to the entrance.
Many private cars are waiting for tourists around the bus stop.
Time needed in the scenic area: 2-3 hours, half a day at most. The highlight is a boat trip through the ravine.
